Thank you very much (not)

Apparently the eldest (Age 4) mini cellarer was singing 'I kissed a girl and I liked it', earlier

I decided to delete the Katy Perry post on my blog on which you commented.

I must admit that, if I had a four-year-old child, I wouldn't want him/her singing or watching or listening to ANY kind of pop music.

I think the song in question is supposed to be very much tongue-in-cheek (and has in fact been heavily criticised by US "liberals" as being homophobic), but of course impressionable young minds are likely to derive an entirely different message from the song and to see it as condoning and even encouraging immoral lifestyles.

My blog-post was intended to make a serious point in a humorous way, but, where serious moral and cultural issues are at stake, maybe that's not such a good idea.

Yes, I'm aware there are different interpretations of the song, but as you and I are both aware, a 4 year old obviously isn't aware of interpretations, agenda's, context, etc, etc.
